I bought the Black & Decker GrassHog and Amazon recommended this for refills. It is not compatible! I had to use the string off of these to restring the original spool.

i was debating if i should buy this spool from amazon but people were complaining about the prices. so i went to ace hardware store and they charge 12 dollars for one of these spools, forget that. next time i buy spool for my weed eater i'm going with amazon.
for the price i paid for at ace i could have gotten 3 for that price.
