For cutting ends on long lengths of wood or fibre molding, these things are indispensable. Resin molding seems to be light enough to be held in position, but our fibreboard pieces bowed imperceptibly and threw off cut after cut. Using the crown stops on the saw solved the problem and we started getting amazing cuts.

Bought these in March 2010 and DeWalt has definitely beefed them up. They're now heavy duty steel stops that weigh over 2-lbs. Worth having and worth the money now.

DeWalt makes a valuable and very useful tool when you take on the challenge of installing crown moulding. A must have tool.

I was having trouble cutting miters with wide crown moulding. This product held the moulding to a consistent enough, repeatable distance so I could end up with a professional job. Had to add another hole to increase the distance to hold the extra wide crown moulding, this was done easy enough though. Good product!
